Volunteers will join us at B'nai Torah Congregation, 6261 SW 18th St, in Boca Raton, as we host local seniors who will be attending a model Passover Seder. This luncheon will be held on Tuesday, April 16th. Volunteers will need to arrive at 10:00am for orientation and training purposes and stay until 1:00pm to assist our guests back onto their buses. Responsibilities of the volunteers include:
- greeting our guests as they arrive, helping them off their buses, and assisting them to their seats
- interacting, socializing and dancing with guests to join in the festivities
- handing out containers and bags for the guests to pack up their leftovers
- escorting our guests to the proper buses at the end of the lunch
Please wear comfortable shoes, as you will be on your feet for a couple of hours. Water and coffee will be provided for the volunteers. The lunch meal is for guests only. Volunteers are asked to eat beforehand or are welcome to bring individual snacks.
