We have an available opportunity to make weekly phone calls to a senior who is feeling lonely. Through the Telephone Reassurance program, the volunteer will be matched with a client who they will call 2-3 times per week. These calls are meant as a friendly check in.
This is a flexible volunteer opportunity in which the volunteer and client will set the schedule for calls directly with each other. The volunteer will be provided a script to start and a link to log their weekly calls.
