JFS Community Outreach

Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services (RalesJFS) offers a comprehensive range of programs and services which support people of all ages and beliefs. With locations in Boca Raton and Delray Beach, Rales JFS programs and services include food & financial assistance, senior services, behavioral health services, family & children's services.  Our mission is to support anyone in South Palm Beach County who needs help, regardless of age or background. Our comprehensive programs strengthen, protect, and empower, with care and compassion. Our vision is to strive for a future where our entire community is accepted, strengthened, cared for, and safe.  Funding is provided by individuals, corporations, grants, special events and donors who support our mission and bring hope to thousands in need.

Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services is proud to offer a Community Outreach Program serving Boca Raton and Delray Beach, two of the county’s largest and most diverse cities.  By working with community partners, including Synagogues, day schools, and other organizations, JFS outreach professionals will bring all of JFS’ programs and services into the community to help families gain access to the available supports as easily and efficiently as possible. Services offered include: Case Management, Counseling and Support Group, Psychiatric Services, Financial Assistance, Meals on Wheels, The Jacobson Family Food pantry, Senior Services, Holocaust Survivors Assistance, Assistance with Rides, Companions, and Friendly Visitors, Educational Workshops.

Volunteers help JFS connect and check in with the community members.  Volunteers may conduct client satisfaction surveys, provide storm response during hurricane season, act as community ambassadors, attend local events such, and respond to other community needs that may arise.
