JFS Senior Services: Shop and Share Program

Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services (RalesJFS) offers a comprehensive range of programs and services which support people of all ages and beliefs. With locations in Boca Raton and Delray Beach, Rales JFS programs and services include food & financial assistance, senior services, behavioral health services, family & children's services.  Our mission is to support anyone in South Palm Beach County who needs help, regardless of age or background. Our comprehensive programs strengthen, protect, and empower, with care and compassion. Our vision is to strive for a future where our entire community is accepted, strengthened, cared for, and safe.  Funding is provided by individuals, corporations, grants, special events and donors who support our mission and bring hope to thousands in need.

Volunteers grocery shop for clients who are no longer willing or able to shop for themselves.  Through this program the volunteer can shop up to twice per month.  The client will provide the volunteer with a shopping list and the volunteer will shop and deliver the groceries at the agreed upon date and time.  Volunteers can also assist to put the groceries away and spend time socializing.This is a flexible opportunity in which the volunteer and client will schedule   dates and times to shop directly with each other.
