Volunteers will join us at B'nai Torah Congregation, 6261 SW 18th St, in Boca Raton, as we host local seniors who will be attending a model Passover Seder. This is an in-person luncheon being held on Thursday, March 30th from 10:00am to 1:00pm. Volunteers will need to arrive at 10:00 for orientation and training purposes. Responsibilities of the volunteers include:
- greeting our guests as they arrive and assisting them to their seats
- checking in guests at their table and providing name tags
- interacting, socializing and dance with guests to join in the festivities
- handing out containers and bags for the guests to pack up their leftovers
- escorting our guests to the proper buses at the end of the lunch
Please wear comfortable shoes, as you will be on your feet for a couple of hours. Water and coffee will be provided for the volunteers. The lunch meal is for guests only. Volunteers are asked to eat beforehand or are welcome to bring individual snacks.
