Help JFS pack hurricane supply packages for our most vulnerable clients in preparation of hurricane season 2023.
This volunteer shift takes place at the Jacobson Family Food Pantry, 430 S. Congress Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33445.
The shift will be on Tuesday, 6/13 from 6-8:00pm.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult to participate. Community service hours will be provided.
What we are packing: All hurricane preparation items will be set up in assembly-line style for the volunteers to fill. Expect approximately 950 bags packed with food and supplies. The food includes peanut butter, applesauce, crackers, fruit cocktail, tuna fish, granola bars and water. The hurricane supplies have a cooler bag, can opener, flashlight, poncho, first aid kit, fan, JFS magnet and a hurricane guide booklet.
