Opportunities From: Ruth and Norman Rales Jewish Family Services

Volunteer: Deliver Groceries to Gould House & Weinberg

This opportunity requires a regular on-going commitment from the volunteer. Volunteers arrive at a location on campus at the Gould & Weinberb House between 8:30am and 9:00am, to meet our food pantry truck. Volunteers are provided with a list of JFS clients and their addresses, mostly in century village, along with a bin full of pre-bagged food packages to deliver to the client’s door.  Volunteers must be able to carry one bag of non-perishable items, one bag of produce, and one container of milk and paper towels to the clients door and may be upstairs.  Volunteers drive their own car and it usually takes about 1-2 hours maximum to complete these deliveries.
